After trying many different bits, I came up with this bit. Horse runs fine on it. Makes contact, no longer tries to get her tongue over the bit, not even chewing the bit excessively. Handles the bit itself, putting on the bridle. Bit is not a bar bit as stated in the description on some websites. "Only downside" is that the rings are quite large because it is a D snaffle.

I am very happy with this for my (young) horse who can be a bit 'nasty' and can also hang in the bit after the jump. With a soft hand with riding the bit is also friendly but if your horse goes against your hand it works well as a bar. The thickness of the bit is also very nice because most bits are too thick. All in all, a very friendly bit that keeps your horse soft in the mouth and acts a bit tighter if necessary. Top!
