The bit could be better made, but okay for the price. The bit "squeaks" quite a bit and is therefore unfortunately no longer used on a daily basis. My horse does fine with it though. The bit was ideal for breaking in.

Horse always had trouble accepting the bit, but she thinks this is great! Because of the roll she is no longer so restless with her head and she plays with her tongue all the time so that she foams nicely at the corners of the mouth and takes the bit nicely.

My horse walks very well on this. We had more handlebars because of that role and because of the sides we had more handlebars.
