It is a bit strange on my horse I must say, even though the headpiece is very wide, I notice that most of the pressure is behind the ears. He also moved back a bit for me.

Was very pleased with it, soft leather, fit nicely. Until after a week of use I suddenly saw that the head piece was tearing, it is glued together and this broke incredibly quickly.
