Ideal for a horse with a large tongue, the bit lies flat. It allows a soft contact, and a soft brake just by closing the fingers. I only use it on the go. Do not worry if the blue color rusts, this is the principle of this alloy. The barrels are quite thin and do not take up space in the mouth. Good value for money. It is also very light for a Pelham.

I ordered the bit for a pony other than the one that has it now. The pony for which this bit was originally intended does not like him and the pony that I now ride with it is really light as a feather, easy to brake and very nice to ride on the bit. In this size only the curb chain is just a bit long, I had to pinch some rings or you have to put the chain on the hook double. Beautifully packaged by the way, all very happy! If you are considering riding with something like this, make sure you have the right guidance and really check whether your horse likes it or not. It really differs a lot per horse or pony.
