This halter is above all safe. I don't like having them in the meadow with a halter, but if mine cannot yet wear a fly hood, this is a good alternative to a fly net.

Ordered a size Shetlander for our A pony but it is still much too big

Unfortunately really too small. Apart from that, a nice halter. So I would recommend it, but in a size larger.
