Very sturdy! Color was perfect for the hat. It is a perfect cord, not too weak but also not too strong so no burden.

I will have to order a hat for this, but unfortunately it is not yet in my size. I am sure this is a good strap because I have fitted my previous hat with it. Handy when needed and not difficult when you don't need it.
