Good chest protection. Prevents chafing on the chest. My vet recommended it to me for tension in the withers area, as the blanket can glide flexibly over the fabric of the Slinky and the pressure is better balanced. You just have to make sure that the chest zipper is properly closed and locked in place, otherwise it can open.

Thanks to this chest piece, my horse no longer suffers from chafing when wearing a blanket! I've had it for a few months now and it's still in great shape! It is a stretchy fabric so basically fits every horse. The zippers are also very handy and withstand mud.

Simple system with zippers Maybe a little bigger than I expected. But my mare is no longer injured by the blanket and that was the purpose of my purchase. So perfect.

I've been comparing everything, and it's hard to decide which brand to go for. In the end I opted for the more expensive horseware chest protector, partly because she also wears the blankets and they are super great! I ordered the right size, but it is a bit big on her stomach, but this is no problem at all. I will buy another one for my smaller horse too!

Good fit, closes well with the zippers easy to put on and take off. But XL also fits my large Shire.
