I've been using this bucket for 2 years. I use them as a drinking trough for the horses in the boxes together with the safety holder. So far, 2 out of 10 have broken, but some of them are also exposed to high levels of stress. Since the idea of a flat side is unparalleled, the buckets are unrivaled and I can't say if there is an even more shatterproof plastic.
