Very nice fly rug

Very nice fly rug. Fits fine. Is also good. I only miss a piece of Velcro or a hook to attach it to the bridle. Despite that, I am very happy with it! He does what he has to do and that's the most important thing !! In any case, I can drive outside again!

Great fly rug with large hole for saddle

I am satisfied with this fly rug. It does have a fairly large hole for the saddle which allows it to slide back and forth a bit (with my dressage saddle) if you don't lock it down properly. I put it under the flap of my saddle and it stays in place. I've been using it for several months now and no damage has been seen so far. My horse doesn't sweat at all.

  • Big neck
  • Firmly
  • Easy to use

remains good in use, made some adjustments to the blanket myself

Last summer, this driving blanket was used intensively. Some signs of wear where it goes under the saddle, but is still intact. I had bought the largest size, for a horse of 170. This made the saddle cut-out large, put a rubber band at the front of the saddle cut-out to make it smaller. The advantage of this was more freedom of movement at the shoulders and a longer neck. However, my horse's neck was not long enough for the ear elastic. I attach the ear elastic to the bridle with a Velcro strap. And with these 'interventions' I have a blanket that has enough freedom of movement, does not slide and covers most of the neck.

  • Easy to use
  • Fine fabric
  • Elastic is not around the ears

User friendly

My horse is a lot calmer with this blanket, we can now take a relaxed ride in the polder again.

  • Easy to use
  • Firmly
  • I think the recess for the saddle is a bit too big
  • Fabric is hard and horse quickly sweats under it

Question and Answer

Francis on 19/07/2018:

On the shoulder on the inside there are cords, what are they for? Francis

Here you can possibly do the reins or reins.
Pascal on 20/06/2018:

Hi, I was wondering if that recess on the back is also a piece of dust? for when there is no saddle that the horse is protected against the horse

The blanket is made specifically for riding and has a recess without dust.
Wendy on 19/07/2017:

Dear, Is it the intention to use it to drive you to saddle up first and then put your fly rug over it or first your fly rug and then you saddle it? Mvg Wendy

First the saddle and then the blanket. You can also place the outer sweat sheet over the blanket.
Anne Pieneman on 02/05/2016:

Can I decide which size I should take with this? I like to hear it! With kind regards, Anne Pieneman
