Great for "soaping up" small areas, such as mallenders, especially if the horse doesn't like standing still/doesn't like being hosed down. I always mix shampoo and water in style, lather up my legs and then just have to do a quick rinse. With the brush you can also work the shampoo nicely into the skin.
