The fly rug does keep the flies away through the print, but it doesn't fit well. It's the right size but it keeps sliding back so I'm afraid it won't last long and will be torn by next summer. The head part is also not long enough and rubs at the mane. My horse has lost half of its mane in two weeks. Because it slides back, it also opens the holes of the straps on the chest. I was more satisfied with another brand that was in one piece, but there always had a strap tearing off the belly flap that was also connected to the strap between his back legs, so I thought this one was going to be better with the two straps under the belly , but unfortunately not.
