I use the blanket as a blanket in winter.

Very happy with this blanket, the neck piece is not too big and you can easily adjust it. The buckles are also behind a Velcro flap which makes it a lot safer. this is unfortunately not the case with the chest piece. Only downside for me is that the girths are not elastic.
