Covalliero Horse Shoe

I took the measurements of the clog correctly but the shoe was too big, so I had to return it and take the size down. You must pay close attention to the heel counter when putting it on, and tighten all the Velcro straps tightly, otherwise the shoe can come off easily. A seam came loose after the first use, but I think it's because the shoe was put on incorrectly. Otherwise I tested them on "hostile" paths: stones, road, mud, puddles... The water evacuates perfectly and my horse's feet are much less sensitive, more confident on hard ground. I'm delighted with it, but seeing the wear over time.

I use it when my horse loses a horseshoe and my farrier cannot come immediately. My horse has very sensitive hooves that break down quickly without shoes, so useful to bridge the time when my farrier can arrive. Despite measuring the hoof carefully and checking the sizes carefully, I still had to order several sizes before I found the right one...

Unfortunately, our pony is laminitis. These hoof boots provide relief. Makes walking visibly easier and reduces pain. Doesn't fit quite right, but they stay in place well. The size is relatively large. Half a size smaller would have been better for our pony. We now solve this problem with a diaper or washcloth for the shoe. This works fine.
