Perfect for correcting the positioning of my saddle and clearing the withers. It lands better directly on the back than between the mat and the saddle.

The pad keeps the withers beautifully free and fills in well at the shoulder. This is ideal for my slightly muscular older KWPN rider. A narrower saddle will quickly clamp and sink too far over the withers, this pad provides exactly the cushioning we need. Only downside: the gel layer on top gets dirty quickly and is difficult to clean (like any gel pad).

Was skeptical at first, because of the price. But both horses d are sensitive in the back accepted it very well, it cushions excellent and still soft and flexible. Fits very well under jumping saddles but the dressage saddle could be a small size, so I would be full I'm enthusiastic.

Good skin-friendly pad. Soft on the south side and resilient on the saddle box. Remains nicely in place.
