Bense & Eicke vitamin E plus selenium. Vitamin E in combination with selenium is indispensable for cell metabolism. It is needed by the organism for muscle metabolism and can thus prevent cell damage in combination with selenium. Vitamin E and selenium also play a significant role in fertility.
In winter, vitamin E is only available to 5 % of the normal requirement via the usual rations of hay and oats. However, at least 2000 mg should be administered per animal and day. Vitamin E selenium ensures that the horse is supplied with vitamin E and selenium as needed.
