I often throw crookedly, causing the ring to end up in a ditch. Most dog toys do not float. So there are a lot of toy rings at the bottom of the ditch. This is of course not what you want. So it's ideal that these float. This is how one of my German Shepherds can get it out of the water. They are also very sturdy. They often bite and tear hard.
