Have had ariats for a number of years now and they are perfect. The advantage is that you can ride it well, chaps over it and you're done.

The shoes are rather narrow at the front. Those dark reinforcements on the outside of the nose are quite hard and if you have wider feet then it pinches and rubs on the sides where that reinforcement begins. Had previously winter Ariats with a thinsulate insulation lining and there was not.
