Shoulder pad bought for my mare who was injured by her blanket. Very effective, the hairs grew back in about a month, then no more problems all winter. Only small downside: there is no opening, so you have to put the shoulder protector on through the horse's head and neck... which can be complicated with fearful horses, I think. Mine was scared at first. I put her with a treat the first few times and then no problem she was used to it. But it seems to me that it would be more practical with a system of scratches or press studs.

Does its job it limits the friction at the level of the shoulder as far as my horse is concerned.

Looks comfortable for the horse Stable if the size is suitable Attention size a rather large! For a saddle horse 1m65, medium chest but protruding withers => really tall therefore lacks stability

I already had one like this before buying one. Holds well in place, does not hurt and does not deform whatever the movement of the horse. Is durable over time.
