All in all, we like the ceiling very much. It has a good fit, but in my opinion is bigger than smaller (with other rugs besides Horseware, my mare wears 145 - here she still has plenty of room in 135). The blanket has already withstood heavy, persistent rain and then dried off relatively quickly. When I take off the blanket, the coat of my horse always shines very nicely - there are no chafing marks. I particularly like the withers pad with Weatherbeeta blankets - this blanket is also available. So far I have not found any other highneck blanket with eyelets for a liner / lower blanket - there are some available with this blanket and it works great with the matching Weatherbeeta liner. If you do not use a false blanket, the eyelets can be pushed into small "pockets" so that the metal of the eyelets does not lie directly on the horse's skin. When it rains for a long time, some water runs into the blanket in the chest area of my mare - she is usually a bit wet then at the bow joint. But that has happened to us with other blankets as well. All in all, however, a very high quality blanket - hopefully it will also fit next year!
