This drinking trough is for my Shetland ponies. At first they were a bit scared of the noise (they used to drink from a large bucket). We hung some mashed potatoes on the clapper and once they realized that they had to push with their noses there was no problem anymore. Very easy to install too. By the way, I have hung up this product for 1 year now. Shows no wear yet. Top product.
