Otherwise light mesh blanket, with attachment option on the head, the blanket would be better.

Soft material that keeps flies out. Lightweight, very good fit. Ideal with the elastic on the tail flap. leg strap is not necessary because of this. Horse does not get too hot underneath. The material is fragile. The soft lining pieces on the neck and chest (to prevent chafing) tear quickly. But personally I think the comfort for my horse is more important.
