Easy to wash out, both cushions out and all separately in the washing machine. The outer edge can easily be filled if necessary. (not yet with me) Idea: waterproof inner pillows with plastic cover?

Zipper was very fast

Nice and solid cushion, only our puppy had bitten the zipper within an hour. There should have been an extra edge over the zipper
