I bought this lashing rope to secure my mare that was being saddle-broken. I just turned him into a pole in the outside arena because the bridging all happened there because of her foal that was walking in the adjacent meadow. It gave me a lot of reassurance that if she panicked, I could quickly intervene through the panic hook, but also that there is some stretch and she herself would not immediately hang in the rope. It is still hanging in the wind and weather and still functions great. Really recommended.
