Unfortunately, this was too large to expand the blanket of my Haflinger. I sent it back. Material was nice and the idea was nice, but it didn't work for my haflinger.

I bought this chest extender for my shetland, the one size fits perfectly. In addition, it is solid and resistant to friction.
