The girth looks great and is also wonderfully soft and supple leather. The elastic is certainly not weak, but double stitched a few times and strong.

I am very excited about the belt. I bought it as an alternative to a belly harness for jumping because my mare is very sensitive to touch on the stomach and the normal Latzgurt is too large. My mare feels good about it and the quality is convincing and he is very supple. Definitely a buy recommendation
