The seat gives good grip, pants were comfortable. Wears out quickly so I didn't use them as long as other riding breeches, so not worth repeating.

The pants are fine, but take a size larger than normal! The Velcro at the ankle is sturdy and stays in place, so that's definitely a plus. You get excellent riding breeches for the price you pay, but I will recommend another one for an active competition rider.

The bottom of the ankle is in velcro and the black material looks like imitation leather which is not at all pleasant to walk on
