My regular girth is just as thick as this cover. so it becomes a tremendously stuffy and rather hard and rigid intention. Unfortunately, I sent it back. in addition, the wound that I wanted to protect remained still protected.

I bought this cover for an old leather girth. It took a while to get him through, but now he is fine. Nice and soft (softer than I expected, it has a 'cuddly' outer layer) and handy that you can wash it.

Ideal! I use this cover for the girth of my marathon harness. My horse has thin skin and every time he has tried wounds of all kinds of fur, etc, but this turns out to be the best solution. No more wounds and remains super in shape.
