My Classic Pony mare is afraid of the sound of velcro, this halter still protects her eyes from flies. Good solution, unfortunately the net material is not particularly stable. Usually the network is broken after 2 months.

My horse first had a fly halter that was stiffer with ears and she didn't like that. This one is softer and she likes that a lot better, she doesn't turn her head away when I want to put it on. The mesh is also flexible but because of the shape it is not tight over her eyes. I've been using it for the second year now and if I need a new one, I'll buy the same one again.

Handy solution if your horse keeps taking off its maker. Net is nicely mounted.
