Because the single ribbon is not such a simple system to make ribbon shorter.

Thigh straps often wear out quickly ... being able to change them at a low cost is great! and they are of good quality

I ordered them with the Bucas blanket, but would prefer fully elastic bands. I'm afraid these will sand. They are also difficult to customize
