I am a big fan of these practical elastic gate handle sets. You can use them with different sizes of passages. They are safe to use with horses because the tails do not stretch in them. Elastic stays neatly tight. Over time, after several years, the rack will wear out and if they do fly through and they snap you will have to fix it with a standard gate handle.
