Solid strong feeder that can take a beating. The rods that are in it help against spilling the feed by the horse. They cannot then "slide out" the food. Also voracious horses such as 1 of mine that bite firmly into the food with their teeth and thereby press on the bottom of the bowl, this food bowl can withstand. Better than the plastic versions. The corners should be rounded, so that the container is easier to keep clean.
