Recently removed 2 ticks and this worked fine. Pliers that you should always have somewhere in the stable.

The drawing pliers are of good quality and function properly, but there are better alternatives. Because it has a powerful spring, you can remove the head from the legs and keep it in place. With small ticks, it does not even reach behind the tick. A better alternative is the 'crowbar'.
