The Ultimate Muzzle
These muzzles can be used in case your horse should loose some weight in order to prevent overweight or laminitis for example. A good solution when the horse is in the pasture for a longer period but should spend less time foraging. The muzzle is comfortable and can easily be attached to the halter. Made of durable materials and equipped with extra comfort.
This mask is ideal for ponies where the normal mask is too high in the face. The Zephyr is attached to the halter without the need for extra straps. It is recommended to use this mask on a halter in case the horse gets stuck to something.
Advantages

- The higher front prevents the removal of the muzzle by the horse
- Solid chin piece to minimise rubbing
- Without clips so getting caught on wire is prevented
- Rectangular mouth hole
Note: The muzzle should not be too tight. Please bear in mind that the muzzles are deeper than the standard muzzles and were designed to be loose fitting. One should be able to get at least 2-3 fingers around the sides of the muzzles.

Great for grass and in combination with slow feeders

Good grazing mask of sturdy quality. And easy to combine with, for example, a full fleece halter against pressure points. It works great on grass, but with loose hay my horse quickly realized that he could easily eat hay through the nostril openings. Unfortunately he is not (but I don't think that's anything) a match for horses that help each other to pull off the mask/halter 🙈.

well made and practical product

I bought this basket for my mare who started with laminitis to put her on a diet. Beautiful product, very easy to install on the halter and holds very well. She has been wearing it 24 hours a day for 15 days and everything is fine, no injuries. Basket wide enough and the opening for the nostrils is great (I think it's a comfort for her). To see the hold over time of course, but if it is to be done again I would not hesitate to take the same.
