pretty tight
For my 169-year-old mare, the neck was very tight. Also to do over the head I had to put quite a lot of force and the horse didn't really like it either. Sent me back.

Fine material but slides together from both sides. You can attach the top to the halter, but I don't like putting my horse in the stable with a halter. It also crawls up from the withers.
