Use it for my Icelandic dog with a very thick coat to clip behind the elbow, on the throat, between the front legs etc. where my big machine doesn't fit. Certainly enough for that. Not recommended for larger areas (if you have thick skin). 1 star deducted because the description here says that it can be operated with a battery and power supply. However, the instructions for use that come with it say that mains operation is not recommended; you should only use a cable in an “emergency”.
