Product description

Pelham's work on the poll, corners, bars, tongue and chin groove. This bit will assist with control. The jointed mouthpiece will lessen the nutcracker action. The copper and sweet iron will encourage the horse to be softer in the mouth. Raised copper ribs help to prevent the horse taking too much of a hold.

horse walks well

my pad, which has been trained with a very thin rod bit, can be driven with little fingers with this bit. She does not respond to a normal snaffle, she walks super well!

Good price / performance ratio

It's a bit harder than other pelhams, but not overly heavy. Maybe too heavy for a pony, but no problem at all for a horse. With chin chain.

firm bit

For my horse well, provided that curb chain is properly secured. Horse is more sensitive to hand.
