I am really very happy with the drinker. My horse kept having problems with normal waterers. Since we got this water level drinker there have been no more problems :-)

The large volume of this drinker allows an adjustment that leaves enough water in the tank while avoiding overflowing when our horses come to drink. The water inlet system seems too fragile to me, however, we had to change it less than a year after the installation of the drinker, to see if it was a special case or if the new one installed placed as a replacement will pose the same problem.

use with a low flow float for animal grazing. seems quality after a year no problem.

After my pony tore the drinking trough from the wall and was busy with the internal structure, a new float had to be found: The installation of the float was very easy: loosen the screw, remove the old valve, insert the new valve. Adjustment is made by turning. Really easy. Since I am very convinced of the 9L drinker, and my horse likes to drink larger quantities without having to "wait" for the water to run out, I order a second drinker today ... just in case with a replacement valve. Horses like to drink large amounts of water in one go: As a test, I placed a 60l bricklayer bucket next to the conventional, normal, small trough and filled it with water from the same line: The horse always drank from the bucket first. Only when it was empty did it take the much smaller self-potion. Horses simply don't want to have to wait for water to run while drinking - then they tend to stop drinking and drink less, according to my test. The only drawback: Unfortunately, there is still no suitable protective bracket for the 9L trough. I'll build it myself now.
