Solid food bowl, just too deep for my Welsh's narrow nose. The bars press against the cheekbones, if I widen it the mare can still reach it. So unsuitable for my Welsh.

We use the feeding trough for our PRE stallion because he always throws his food out of the feeding trough. Both outer bars are attached, the trough is quite deep and our horse eats his food well, licks the trough completely clean, but can no longer slobber.
