Well made, but: only swings inwards
Manufacture: well made and finished (the resistance of the paint cannot be assessed yet). Functionality: no real swing-through The rings are hung in such a way (eccentric shaft at the top, in a groove at the bottom), that they only 'let in' the supplied port pin, so from the 2 outsides of the 2 rings. As a result, the gate can fall 'into the lock' from both sides (ie in the middle between the 2 rings), but unfortunately not out unless a ring is lifted by hand. That should be possible for 'swing-through', so: (1) a purer name would be: '2-way closure', or (2) the suspension can be adjusted: centered at the top instead of eccentric, and at the bottom longer channels , spring that pulls the 2 rings together for better operation.
- Made properly
- Well finished
- Compact enough
- Robust enough
- No swing through but a 2-way: only falling into the lock, cannot be pulled out of the lock
- Center the eccentrically mounted 2 rings rings
- Keep the 2 rings with a spring together for better operation
- Lengthen the 2 channels for better effect
