Totally unnecessary
The fork is badly inclined and weighs very heavy, do not expect to pick up droppings with it, it's a waste of time!

Handy for mucking out stables with wood shavings or flax. Good quality and very sturdy!

Have bought the fork to muck out the horse stable, is great with linseed straw as litter

Fine sturdy fork, a bit heavy but that is because of the heavy ironwork which makes it strong again.

My (very) old 10-ton fork gave the spirit after 25 years of faithful service. This 9-tine fork (with rounded tips was exactly what I needed.) The whole field has been cleared without any problems, nicely wide and with the right suspension.
