The scythe blade is not super sharp and it takes a lot of time to get it sharp with a whetstone. On the other hand, the scythe blade, after tightening properly, is firmly in the tree, although I also use a piece of flat steel with a slot that goes over the wings of the wing nut.

The blade of the scythe is only attached to the handle with 1 screw and therefore the scythe folds quickly when it comes against plants due to the force. Made an extra hole in the scythe and stem and an extra screw through it and now it works perfectly. Handle is not too good, release quickly and then tighten a nut again.
