Nice bitless bridle

Very nice reigns easy to put on, the reins are quite long

  • Horse reacts super
  • Nice material
  • Fits well
  • Easy to do
  • Reins are very long

Pressure remains too long

Pressure lingers too long when you apply force to the reins. The jaw cruciate ligaments then get stuck.

  • With too much pressure abrasion on the chin
  • Bit boring
  • Pressure remains for a long time

Fine and easy

Nice bridle and easy to put on your horse. A disadvantage: when I am driving and I want to stop my horse and then release the reins, pressure remains on the head.

  • Horse is responding well
  • Reins are fine
  • Flexible leather
  • Just true to his money
  • Fits well
  • Pressure remains for a long time
  • Bit boring

For when you want to start super nice!

Had bought the bridle with the idea to ride fine bitless! drove a few times and there were still some negatives. I drive a haflinger and they can be quite stubborn (turn around if he doesn't feel like it and then walk back home). With bit in he also did this less. The major disadvantage of this bridle is that if you have to pull your horse to a side a little harder, because it does not listen, for example. The pressure on the side you pulled is hardly going to go away! and so if you pull to the left, your rein on that side is also much longer at once (which makes sense) I am satisfied with the concept! But for a horse that is rather stubborn, I simply would not recommend it! What I have done is turn this bridle into a sidepull! Simply take off the pieces that your reins are attached to and attach your reins to the rings on the bridle!

Nice bridle for a good price

Nice bridle, have fun! Certainly suitable for bitless testing.

  • Flexible leather
  • Just true to his money
  • Horse is responding well
  • Nicely priced to give it a bitless try. However, does not feel very solid

Nice to try

Price super if you just want to try bitless without big costs. High-quality bridle for occasional use. Unfortunately with my horse only brake but few handlebars.

  • Price to quality
  • Good fit
  • Reins are not comfortable to hold
  • Reins are very long
  • The reins are too coarse for the bridle, leather reins would

Question and Answer

Ronald Kouters on 14/11/2019:

Do you also have a bitless artificial leather bridle? (I am a vegan and prefer to use products that are not of animal origin). Moreover, the bridle will not be used for a horse or pony but for a donkey.

We have 1 bitless bridle that is not made of leather, that's this: https://www.agradi.nl/agradi-rijhalster-met-teugels-koningsblauw-full.htm
