It works well, but you shouldn't make your gates too long because as the elastic gets a bit older, the stretch will also lose some. I think it is an extremely expensive product.

I only use it to close/open inputs/outputs. For separation when eating. Sometimes my horses have difficulty seeing the strand, so I only do it when I need to open/close it quickly, but it's perfect for that. If you pull too hard over the long term, the strand will wear out a bit, but I would say that's normal. At first I had concerns about frost, but it was okay. I will continue to buy.

Handy for gate for meadow entrance. Highly visible and super elastic.
