Bucas Freedom Dog Rug 50g Navy

It is a beautiful blanket, under which my dog stays dry. I find the much too thin, fixed elastics that have to be wrapped around the hind legs to keep the blanket in place a turn-off: We have an old stiff, long-haired German Shepherd. Blanket is still on, even though dog does not like to pull up hind legs. But after a walk in the rain, the blanket turned out to be twisted around those thin rubber bands. Blanket was painfully stuck. Replace this thin elastic yourself with a wider yet flexible version. Clips on the back, as you also know from horse blankets. 2 problems solved in one fell swoop.

This jacket is of good quality, as I am used to from Bucas. During heavy rain, it remains completely waterproof. Only the belly flap is too wide for my Cavalier… The length is perfect, but I can't get the belly flap small enough, so I had to tie a knot in the cords at the top of the closure.

Fit is great and they have a lot of freedom behind the armpits. Also dries pretty quickly and is not too hot for the dog.
