Oil hard and without grip even after 4 times
hard and without grip, even after oiling them 4 times, the reins just slip out of your hand, although the small braided leather parts should actually function like stoppers. I oiled the reins according to the instructions and also wiped them off before use to get as much grip as possible. No chance. The surface of the reins is so smooth that there is simply no hold. Not even with gloves, although my horse does not pull very much forward, but walks quite normally. When oiling the reins, the top of the reins was so smooth that probably no oil was drawn in there, only on the underside. It's a shame because they look beautiful in and of themselves ... But you can't ride a horse just by looking beautiful. Then the old webbing reins have to be found again.
- Nice appearance
- No grip
- Top of the reins too smooth
- Slipping out of hand
- Uncomfortable on fingers
- Too hard
